Welcome to big sky country.

The North Norfolk heritage coast & surrounding Norfolk countryside is one of the last unspoilt landscapes in the country.

It is visceral beauty. Raw. Stunning.

The variety of coastal wildlife, birdlife & nature is staggering – from vast, expansive, stunning beaches like Holkham, to the rare & wonderfully rich salt marshes of Brancaster & Salthouse, to the jaw-dropping harbours of Morston, Cley & Blakeney & into the magnificent seaside gems of Sheringham & Cromer, with its incredible pier.

And that’s just the Northern coastline. The East coast has so many hidden sandy beach secrets, from Overstrand, to Bacton & beyond to the bright lights of Great Yarmouth.

Step inland “the 1950’s county” & its market towns, historical villages, country estates, manor houses, network of heritage churches, maze of incredible farmland, woodland & hidden valleys are utterly enchanting: not to mention all the hidden gems of pubs, museums, tourist attractions & things to do.

Then there’s the Norfolk Broads of course – around 125 miles (200 kilometers) of navigable waterways, a rich, diverse & unique network of rivers and lakes; known for their scenic waterways, wonderful wildlife, and boating opportunities. It is a hugely popular tourist destination – with this unique landscape combining natural and man-made features, offering a peaceful retreat with its picturesque villages and historic windmills.

And with the “fair city” of Norwich – regularly voted one of the best places to live in the UK – on the doorstep, what’s not to love? As these images show…

Norfolk’s got the lot.

From cute, cosy fireside flint cottages by the sea, to sprawling manor houses with acres of estate land & achingly beautiful heritage buildings, sitting alongside some of the UK’s most incredible new build eco-homes & architect designed masterpieces on offer.

No wonder so many become enchanted & get to call Norfolk home.
